Meet the Doctor
Dr. Mohinder Bangar’s journey to becoming your trusted Richmond animal hospital veterinarian began in Punjab, India, where he spent his childhood caring for stray dogs and cats. After graduating from Punjab Agriculture University’s College of Veterinary Sciences in 1994, he worked with farming communities. He treated animals like cattle and goats. His immigration to Canada in 2002 marked a new chapter focused on companion animal care.
Since obtaining his Canadian veterinary license in 2007, Dr. Bangar has dedicated himself to serving pet families throughout the Greater Toronto Area. When he’s not at the clinic, you’ll find him in Brampton with his wife, daughter, and dog Tippy, enjoying books, music, and outdoor activities like running and biking.
